Hayley Gilmore has worked as a graphic designer with the MSU Office of Public Affairs since 2013. In her role, she collaborates with other graphic designers within the Publications division to produce a vast array of well-designed publications for clients across campus, including brochures, posters and more.

Prior to joining Mississippi State, Hayley obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Mississippi University for Women. After graduation, she worked in the printing and customer service industry. In 2013, she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from the University of Memphis. She has taught undergraduate art courses at the University of Memphis, Mississippi State University and Arkansas State University Mountain Home.

In 2018, Hayley received the Outstanding Recent Graduate Award from Mississippi University for Women for her poster designs associated with the 2017 Women's March on Washington.

Gilmore is a member of AIGA and the Southeastern College Art Conference. Her research and design interests include graphic design in zine making, typography and contemporary art and design. In her spare time, she creates artwork inspired by film, books and anything pop culture related. Her professional design work and fine artwork are often intertwined due to her interest in visual storytelling and typography. Teaching and sharing are a crucial part of her design practice.
